Now we can continue talking about the qualities of onion juice, how and when to consume it.

1. Onion juice to strengthen hair

Generally this remedy is used in the long run to strengthen the hair. From the juice you have extracted, take about 20 ml and apply them on the scalp. Then massage for at least 20 minutes, taking care to spread the liquid all over the area.

After performing the two previous steps, let the mask work for about an hour before rinsing your hair. The procedure must be repeated at least three times a week. The first results can therefore be appreciated from the second month of application.

This remedy can be applied directly to the skin. Some grandmother’s remedies recommend applying a little onion to the burn area. Maybe to the new generations it may seem bizarre, right?

But, after all, the elderly are always right. The difference in this case is that we will use a slightly less rudimentary procedure.

First, let’s prepare an ointment. Add a tablespoon of onion juice to a cup, along with a tablespoon of honey. Then, mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.

It applies in the following way:

  1. Apply the onion juice and honey mask to the area where the spots, stretch marks or burns you want to get rid of are located.
  2. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse with plenty of water.
  3. Remember that it is important to protect yourself from the sun at this stage to achieve the desired results.
  4. Repeat once a week until the problem goes away.

These are the two best known methods to take full advantage of the properties of onion juice. However, we propose two others, equally beneficial and to be experimented.

3. Onion juice against insect bites

In case of an insect bite, onion juice is very useful as it reduces the itching in the affected area, relieving the discomfort.

4. Onion juice against mycosis

Lastly, this juice is also great for fighting mycosis. In this case, it should only be applied for about 15 minutes a day, until the problem has completely disappeared.

As you have seen, onion juice can help you fight a variety of ailments. The positive side? Surely the fact that it is extremely cheap and you probably already have the ingredients at home!
