Research published in the journal Nutrition assures that strawberries have a high content of essential nutrients and beneficial phytochemicals which, it seems, exert an important biological activity on human health. To be exact, these fruits bring:

  • C vitamin
  • Potassium
  • Folic acid
  • Manganese
  • Dietary fibers
  • Vitamins E
  • Magnesium

On the other hand, a study published in Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition highlights the content of phytochemicals such as ellagic acid, anthocyanins, quercetin and catechin, which are beneficial for health.

However, it must be taken into account that the availability of these nutrients can vary depending on the form of consumption of the food. They will therefore not be the same if consumed in a dessert. However, it will still be a healthy option for those who want a dessert while taking care of their health.

However, we suggest that you consult your nutritionist before introducing these sweets into your diet, especially in case of diabetes or particular conditions. We also recommend eating it in moderation so as not to exceed the calories.
